Custom Wedding Band to Match and Fit Engagement Ring

Custom Wedding Band To Match And Fit Engagement Ring Netie Lotus Wedding Band
Here's the story and journey of how Netie's wedding band was custom made to match and fit her beautiful and symbolic diamond engagement ring. While Netie was visiting from out-of-state, she came to have a wedding band custom made for her engagement ring. Here's the engagement ring:

Netie's engagement ring has a wide, white gold band with a marquise shape Tanzanite set in the middle of engraved Lotus flower motif, on either side of her diamond. The basket holding the diamond is yellow gold with a hint of rose gold and yellow gold leaves running along both sides of her band. There are two symbolic motives that come out of the sides of the band, as seen in the image. I picked the most prominent features of Netie's engagement ring, when looking at it from top view, and sketched a few designs that would match the lotus flowers and the multiple prongs holding the diamond while accomodating for the sides of the engagement ring to fit in-between the designs of the band. Netie picked the following design:

Here, you see how the part that extends out from her engagement ring fits right in between the alternating beaded flower and Lotus designs. What made the calculations easy was the fact that Netie was incredibly gracious and patient to leave her engagement ring with me, while she went back to California. I was also able to match the yellow gold color in her engagement ring by mixing different color gold alloys.

In the sketch, this design had two options; one option was the way you see in the above image, with diamonds only in the beaded flower and the other option shows one diamond in the beaded flower and another diamond set in the middle of each Lotus flower. We both couldn't decide which one would be better. Although, I can suggest one style over the other, but I wanted for Netie to be able to wear the ring, connect with it and pick the style that speaks to her most. So I shipped the engagement ring and the wedding band initially with diamonds set only in the beaded flower sections. Once Netie got the rings and had the chance to try them on, she decided to also have one diamond set in the middle of each Lotus flower. So she sent her Lotus wedding band back and I had the diamonds added and shipped it back...And so, the Lotus band completed it's set-by-step journey!
