Styling Melissa’s Engagement Ring with Different Bands

Melissa’s engagement ring is definitely not your traditional and the expected. It has a wider structure, a subtle wave, texture and multiple diamonds. It’s a strong yet refined and elegant look.

With a ring like this you either go with contrast by styling it with a thinner band. The thinner band needs to be able to balance the weight of the wide ring. You can achieve this by either having an engraving with defined, specific pattern such as the band on the bottom side showing my Signature Cynthia Britt Flower on the Side. Or a diamond band with geometric shaped diamonds preferably in a defined setting such as the band on top side showing Carre cut diamonds in my Signature Cynthia Britt Carre Diamond Flower Ring.

A thin band next to a wide ring creates contrast and frames the wider ring that’s next to it. The thinner band just needs to have a strong element so it’s cohesive with the design of the wide engagement ring.

Or you can style your wide ring with another wide ring! They just need to balance each other and be cohesive. Mixing patterns is a fun way to wear your rings. Also since the engagement ring has diamonds it’s better that the company ring doesn’t have diamonds. In this scenario, we keep the width the same and we create contrast by wearing a ring with no stones next to a ring with stones.

Experiment, mix and match and create contrast. What looks good on your hand and speaks to you is your style. Have fun with your rings!!
