Transformation of an Heirloom Diamond into an Engagement Ring

I love Sarah's engagement ring! It's so feminine, so happy, so bright! The story is that Sarah and her soon-to-be fiancé, Mark, came to have an engagement ring custom made for Sarah that would be suitable for her hand and would accommodate their family diamond. Here's an image of the heirloom diamond engagement ring after I took out the diamond:

Although Sarah came with images of what she had in mind, the perfect shape for her hand, in my opinion, was to have pear shape diamonds on either side of the center diamond. I also suggested an illusion halo with hand engraving to brighten up everything! Once Sarah liked the design that I sketched for her, I got a pair of pear shape diamonds that would match her diamond and would be suitable for the ring. After the diamonds were chosen, I started making the ring! Here's a side view:

Sarah is beautiful, she has piercing blue eyes and she has a refined and elegant look to her. I wanted the ring to be refined and delicate yet have that incredible brightness that shines through Sarah's eyes! So I made the ring with a very clean and tailored look with flowy lines and added the brightness with hand engraving on the illusion halo! Here's Sarah hand wearing her gorgeous ring:

That's one happy ring, right where it belongs! Congratulations to an incredibly pleasant, fun and loving couple! Love you both!
