Valerie, a young lady who had gotten engaged, contacted me regarding making a custom made wedding ring to match her beautiful diamond engagement ring. She had seen the bands on my website and she was particularly interested in the Cynthia Britt "Flower" band in the "Flower" Collection.
The pieces in the "Flower" Collection are very much design-oriented and the small beads that make up the flower motif are prominent. Valerie's engagement ring is very delicate and although the "Flower" bands are suitable to the design of her ring, they needed to be less prominent. The design and the diamonds on the band needed to have an equal balance and the bead work had to be less, showing less metal. I re-made the "Flower" band to match Valerie's engagement ring.
