Custom Engagement Ring and Wedding Ring Set

Genevieve Engagement Ring and Wedding Ring Genevieve Engagement Ring and Wedding Ring
When Genevieve came back to have her stones checked and her rings cleaned, I had the opportunity to take a picture of her custom made engagement ring and wedding ring together. I have already written the story of how I made each ring, so I won't go through detail. However, I would like to mention that I made Genevieve's engagement ring for the three sapphires, oval center and two heart-shapes, which she received from her fiancé to-be. When Genevieve came back to have her wedding band made, she wanted for the two rings to fit together. Since the engagement ring has the heart-shape sapphires on the side, I suggested to use heart-shape diamonds on the wedding band. In order for the two rings to nestle, I reversed the direction of the hearts on the wedding band so they would fit right next to the sapphire hearts on the engagement ring. The reason that the wedding band is set with all diamonds versus putting sapphires, is to give the sapphires on the engagement ring the importance that they deserve! Also the diamonds on the wedding band match with the diamonds on the engagement ring. When both rings are worn together, the engagement ring is the important one and the wedding ring complements beautifully without taking away from it. However, when the wedding ring is worn alone, it sure makes a beautiful statement!
