Achieve Custom Made Perfection from Anywhere in the World

Our Foundation is Trust
Cynthia Britt makes exquisite, award winning, custom engagement rings and wedding jewelry—and certainly doesn’t let a little distance get in the way of that. At Cynthia Britt, the foundation of our business and client relationships is trust. Cynthia’s international clientele trust her with designing a sentimental piece of jewelry and artwork, and well as with sourcing the most beautiful diamonds within their budget.

Whitney’s Out of State Experience

Whitney had her heart set on working with Cynthia Britt after reading the reviews and speaking with us over the phone. She wanted to take the two sapphires from an heirloom ring that was passed down to her fiancé and use it to make a new custom made three stone engagement ring.

Whitney was in California, her fiance in Honolulu, and we’re in Boston, but the personalized process that she got from Cynthia Britt was no different than if she was in our office. Cynthia designs each and every ring based off her client's hand shape, personality and style. For that reason, Cynthia asked Whitney to send a picture of her hand. This in turn informed Cynthia of what the design would look like, and what kinds of stones she would source for Whitney.

Diamond Sourcing

Whitney’s fiancé, Caroline, sent Cynthia the heirloom ring. Cynthia polished the sapphires and brought them back to life, a decision everyone had agreed upon. Then, Cynthia got to sourcing the most beautiful diamond options for the center stone, given Whitney’s budget. Cynthia carefully picked out two diamonds, a 0.90 carat G VVSI2, and a 1.00 carat F SI2—a purposeful decision that was based off of Whitney’s skin tone and desire for a yellow gold setting. We wanted to make sure Whitney had the same experience that she would’ve as if she was here in person—so we sent her every type of picture and video of the diamonds that was possible. We sent photos and videos of the stones alone, with the sapphire, under different types of light, and every combination in between.

The Final Product

Within a month, Whitney’s beautiful ring had been created! We sent it to her in California and she loved it as soon as she saw it (for the first time might we add).

Cynthia has the same exact process for all her out of state and international clients, and has made custom engagement rings for clients in Japan, England, Australia and several other countries. Whitney's quote: “Working with Cynthia and her team from across the country was a delight. I was continually impressed with her responsiveness and professionalism, combined with thorough explanations and videos during the process of designing this custom ring.
