Lauren vintage inspired engagement ring by Cynthia Britt is an incredibly romantic and feminine custom made platinum engagement ring. The center has a beautiful 0.81 carat cushion cut diamond, four-prong set. On either side of the center diamond, a beautifully raised motif folds over the band and forms a soft “V” on top. They are both set with 26 pieces small brilliant cut diamonds with 0.13 carat total weight.
Inside the “V” shape there is another brilliant cut diamond set on the band, on either side of the center diamond with 0.02 carat total weight. The entire top half of the ring is then hand engraved by a hand engraving artist, completing its one-of-a-kind vintage look. Price of this engagement ring depends on the center diamond, your choice of metal and the amount of engraving desired. Cynthia worked with me to design this ring for my fiancé and we are incredibly pleased with the result. I live outside of Washington, DC, and was put in touch with Cynthia through a good friend that lives in Boston. I have never met her in person, and my only interaction with her has been over the phone (which was frequent). Although she was several hundred miles away, the level of service that Cynthia provided far exceeded any service I could have received in the DC area even from existing jewelry contacts that I had in DC.
Cynthia is first and foremost an artist: she cared just as much about the final product than I did because each piece becomes part of her collection of work: it goes well beyond meeting the sales goal at a typical jeweler.
She is able to work with any budget, and make you feel confident that regardless of your budget, she will be able to create a beautiful ring. She responds to emails quick, and updates you on the progress of your ring. You need to be able to trust that the final product will be remarkable: it is a custom piece, so there is nothing to physically touch or see (other than Cynthia’s sketches), and CAD model etc. I look forward to working with Cynthia again for our bands, other pieces, etc. Given the effort and commitment she provides, no one is more deserving of your dollar in terms of jeweler. She was a pleasure to work with.
